Tony Street is a qualified accountant and has a background in the chemical and dairy manufacturing industries where he has held various senior management positions. In a former role with NZ Dairy Group, he has had considerable involvement in the areas of project management and capital expenditure. In 1995 Tony entered the field of management consultancy, forming a company called Capital Expenditure Consulting Ltd. During the following three years he assisted a broad range of clients in the private and public sectors, including 12 of New Zealand’s 23 public hospitals. At the time, the public health sector operated under severe funding constraints, and hence the need for improved capital expenditure management. Following on from this, Tony worked with a small team of IT professional to design and develop a software application - Capex® Capital Expenditure Appraisal. To date, he has successfully implemented this package at many Commercially focused organisations. More recently, Tony was responsible for the day to day management of a successful multi-million dollar development project completed on time and within budget. Tony is well recognised in New Zealand as a leading accountant and strategist in the area of capital resource management. Areas of special expertise :
